Winter in the Alps
There is a diverse range of surrounding skiing areas for beginners as well as for advanced skiers.
You get daily information at the hotel (also about skiing courses and ski rental). All listed skiing areas can be reached quickly (between 15 to 40 minutes depending on the area).

Patscherkofel – south of Hall / Innsbruck. Skiing on Olympic and World Cup-proven slopes for all skill levels.
Nordkette – from Hall with bus line 504 or by car. Snowboarder Eldorado north of Innsbruck with the gorgeous view. Recommended for advanced users. >> Nordkettenbahn
Mutterer Alm – very good for beginners. Mainly families with children, beginners and skiers with little practice. >> Mutterer Alm
Schlick2000 – Family friendly ski area in Fulpmes in the Stubai Valley. Easy to reach with the Stubaitalbahn or by car via the motorway in about 20 minutes. >> Schlick2000
Axamer Lizum – the snow-sure ski resort near Innsbruck. Snow and Funpark, sunny slopes and skiing huts with fun. >> Axamer Lizum
Hochfügen – best conditions can be found at 145 km of slopes and 33 lifts. At the beginning of the Ziller Valley (about 40 minutes).
Kühtai – skiing over 2020 meters! The sun and skiers paradise Kühtai is one of the most prestigious ski resorts in Tyrol. Snow conditions from December until of May; reachable in 40 minutes >> Kühtai

Well prepared cross-country ski runs are to be found in Rinn (14 km) and Gnadenwald (4, 7 and 15 km; no charge).
