Hall in Tyrol – the salt and mining city on the river Inn
The former mining city Hall is only 8 km away from Innsbruck, the host city of Olympic Games.
Hall is a small mediaeval town that came to wealth through salt mining. Moreover, Hall was also one of the most significant coinage cities of Central Europe.

Take a stroll across the “Oberer Stadtplatz” where a farmers’ market is held every Saturday morning. Hall has one of Austria’s most beautiful old cities where you can find precious objects in every lane. The numerous shops and cafes are very inviting.
